Our fee policy includes a Gap or Out-of-Pocket expense for Initial Consultations MBS items 132 or 110. This out of pocket expense is paid only once in the twelve months period of your GP referral. During this period all cardiac investigations and subsequent follow ups with your doctor will be bulk billed.
A Concessional gap or out-of-pocket expense applies to pensioners, Centrelink Healthcare Card Holders. It does not apply to DVA and Indigenous Australians. For echocardiograms only referrals a gap or an out-of-pocket charge will apply with a concessional rate for pensioners and Centrelink Health Care card holders.
